Young Historians Summer Sessions – The First and Second World Wars

Young Historians Summer Sessions – The First and Second World Wars

Wednesday 20th August at 2pm-4pm

Are you aged 14–18 and curious about history?

Join us in the Cathedral Archives for a unique hands-on session exploring the local experience and response to the First and Second World Wars. You will get a behind-the-scenes look at rare archival materials, such as official documents, postcards and letters, and uncover the stories they tell about the Cathedral, and the people of Exeter and Devon, during these tumultuous times.

Spaces are limited so please get in touch with Ella Barber, Youth Engagement Officer, to express your interest in attending this session. Spaces (priced at £5 per ticket) will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Are you over 18 and interested in exploring the Library and Archives? Find out more about how to book a visit here.
