Visiting
Choirs

Each year Exeter Cathedral welcomes choirs from all over the UK and around the world to lead worship when the Cathedral Choir is away.

Welcoming visiting choirs is an important part of our mission, and plays a vital role in sustaining the high standard of choral singing and organ playing that is expected and appreciated at the Cathedral.

Plan your choir’s visit to Exeter Cathedral

Michael Stephens-Jones (Assistant Director of Music) is always happy to receive enquiries from prospective visiting choirs. Please take care to include a link to a recent sound recording of the choir, or a YouTube link. References from other places of worship where your choir has sung liturgically can be submitted at this time.

Please also indicate the time when you might like to visit Exeter. Please be aware that the summer months book up well in advance. The other times when visiting choirs are most likely to be invited are school half-term weeks and times either side of Easter and Christmas.
