Our next Be a Chorister for a Day event will take place on Saturday 25 November 2023.
Be a Chorister for a Day is a free Chorister open day for children currently in Years 2 – 5 who enjoy singing. It is a great chance for young people to be encouraged and coached by professional musicians in an inspirational setting. The children will have a great time with the current Choristers, rehearsing and then singing with them in the Cathedral. In addition they will have a special opportunity to take part in the Christingle Service at 4pm. They will hear all about the Choristers’ daily routine, radio and television broadcasts, recordings and tours, and have the opportunity to ask lots of questions.
No previous experience is required; all are welcome to attend this free day of discovery and information.
