About The Reverend Professor Christopher Bryan:
Sometime Woodward Scholar of Wadham College, Oxford, Chris is a priest, academic, and novelist, now semi-retired. His most important non-fiction books are probably Son of God: Reflections on a Tradition (Oxford 2023), The Resurrection of the Messiah (Oxford, 2011), and Render to Caesar: Jesus, the Early Church, and the Roman Superpower (Oxford, 2005). The first of his six Inspector Cecilia Cavaliere novels is Siding Star (Diamond 2012), a somewhat fantastic police case that starts in Exeter Cathedral.
