Make Your Own Planet

Monday 12 – Friday 16 February, 11am-12pm

Inspired by Luke Jerram’s art installation, Mars: War and Peace, this is an opportunity for children, using a range of craft materials, to create their very own hanging planet, based on real or imagined worlds. As part of the session with an experienced freelance artist the group could design and make a whole solar system of planets.

This workshop is for children aged 6+ and there is a maximum of 15 children per workshop – children may each have up to one accompanying adult with them for free. Participants are asked to come to the welcome desk of the Cathedral to be collected for the workshop for a prompt 11am start.
