Library & Archives In Focus: Exploring the Cathedral Archives

Exeter Cathedral Archives is home to ten centuries of records of the Cathedral’s history: the building, the people, and the stories that connect them. This month’s In Focus is part of the national Explore Your Archive campaign, and we have taken on the challenge of representing the entire collection in just twelve items!
From an Anglo Saxon charter to an Edwardian postcard, we will be exploring the range of documents that survive to tell us how – from the medieval to the modern era – the Cathedral has been built, maintained, furnished and used over the centuries.
