Lent Series 2024 – Female Theologians: Hildegard of Bingen:Mystic, Medic and Musician by Canon Sue Wallace

In The Sacristy at Exeter Cathedral via The West Wing

Join Canon Sue Wallace on Thursday 15 February, 2024 at 2.30-4.00pm for a Lent talk on the topic of Hildegard of Bingen. Hildegard of Bingen was a woman ahead of her time. Her skills ranged from the mystical and the visionary to intensely practical advice on dietary health which wouldn’t sound out of place in the 21st Century. Along the way she also composed beautiful and ethereal music. Canon Sue Wallace from Truro will lead an afternoon talk which will explore her life, but also include opportunities for contemplation and creativity.

Canon Sue Wallace is a member of the clergy at Truro Cathedral, assisting the Dean and Precentor with liturgy. She also works for the Transcendence Trust which helps churches with their liturgy and worship.
