The Installation of the Bishop of Crediton

Moira Astin will be installed as the Suffragan Bishop of Crediton at Exeter Cathedral on Sunday 6 July at 4pm.
The Venerable Moira Astin’s appointment as the new Bishop of Crediton was announced on 3 June by Downing Street, following approval by the King.
Moira Astin was born in 1965 in Staines, Surrey. She was educated at Clare College, Cambridge, and trained for ministry at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. Her prior roles include curate at Newbury, Team Vicar in Thatcham, Vicar of St James Woodley and Vicar of Frodingham and New Brumby, where she also served as Area Dean of North Lincolnshire. Since 2016, she has served as Archdeacon of Reigate in the Diocese of Southwark. Moira is married to Timothy and has one son, Edmund. Her latest book is titled The Missing Ending: Rediscovering the Joy of the Ascension.
