Come along to our Abseil Fundraising Fun Day to watch a group of brave individuals descend Exeter Cathedral’s North Tower and enjoy a day of fun-filled family friendly activities on Cathedral Green and inside the Cathedral including:
Free entry into Exeter Cathedral
10am-4pm Ancient treasures with the Exeter Cathedral Library & Archive
10am-4pm Demonstrations from the Exeter Cathedral Flower Arrangers
10am-5pm Football with Exeter City Community Trust
10am-1pm Presentations with the Exeter Cathedral Stonemasons
10am, 12 and 2pm The Living Cathedral Sound Walk Learn to tune in to and listen more closely to the sounds of the space, encountering and experiencing the Cathedral in a new way.
10:30am-12pm and 2pm-3pm Medieval Tile Scrubbing Have a go at cleaning medieval tiles. These ancient tiles were originally used in Exeter
Cathedral’s 13th century Chapter House. We are working to restore the tiles so they can be re-used in the space once again.
11am-3pm Labyrinth
11am-5pm Exeter Independent Market Discover a rich variety of our region’s finest makers and traders including handmade crafts, clothes and accessories, locally produced food and drink or vintage treasures.
11:30am & 1pm Organ recitals in the Quire
12pm and 2pm Guided tours of Exeter Cathedral
