How to donate

Thank you for considering Exeter Cathedral as part of your charitable giving. The Cathedral receives no regular funding from the government or the Church of England, so your donation really will make a difference.

Online donations

It is easy to donate online using the Just Giving website.

Send a cheque

Please make your donation payable to Dean and Chapter of Exeter and send it to The Cathedral Office, 1 The Cloisters, Exeter, EX1 1HS.

Setup a standing order

If you are able to support Exeter Cathedral on a regular basis you can also set up a regular giving plan to run over a period of months or years. For example, you could pledge £5,000 over five years, meaning five yearly instalments of £1,000.

Legacy pledges

Many people are unable to make a substantial gift within their lifetime, despite their wish to do so. Making a legacy pledge allows a person to contribute to our fundraising campaign. For more information on leaving a gift in your Will please contact us.

Other ways to support Exeter Cathedral

Many people choose to support the Cathedral through membership of The Friends of Exeter Cathedral or by volunteering. You may also want to consider supporting the musical life of the Cathedral through the Music Foundation Trust.

Funds raised will be applied for Dean and Chapter objectives.  In the unlikely event that the project or work specified does not proceed or there is a surplus, the Dean and Chapter will apply the funds to similar work as part of their charitable objectives.
