Do you know a child who loves singing?

Exeter Cathedral’s famous choir is holding its annual open day later this year, and booking is now open. The annual “Be a Chorister For a Day” event takes place on Saturday 2nd December 2017.

Each year, the Cathedral Choir opens its doors to boys and girls aged 7-9 who love music, and offers then a unique chance to be a Cathedral Chorister for the day.

The taster day, offered free of charge to all families, gives the children the chance to sing with the current Choristers and learn about the Cathedral. They will then sing with the Cathedral Choir at the popular Christingle service in the afternoon.

All coaching on the day is given by professional musicians from the Cathedral’s music department. Lunch is provided for all children taking part, and there will be an opportunity for parents to enjoy tea before watching (and listening to) their children taking part in the service.
