European Election Hustings to be hosted at Exeter Cathedral

Exeter Cathedral will be hosting European Election Hustings on Wednesday 22 May, 7.30-9.00pm.  Doors will open at 7pm, and seating will be on a first-come-first-served basis. The full list of the candidates speaking from the platform will be released on Monday 20 May.

The following candidates will be speaking:
Andrew Adonis, Labour Party
Molly Scott Cato, Green Party
Liz Sewell, Change UK
James Taghdissian, Conservative Party
Ann Tarr, Brexit Party
Caroline Voaden, Liberal Democrats

The Dean of Exeter, who will be chairing the debate, says:

“Exeter Cathedral has stood at the heart of our city and county as a place of gathering and worship for nearly one thousand years. Encouraging community and civic life is at the heart of our ministry. So it is right and proper that we hold a hustings on the eve of the European Parliamentary Election to allow those who may represent us to describe how they will serve the City of Exeter and the wider region.”
