Brass Rubbing Kits
Bring history to life with our relaxing brass rubbing activity. Each kit provides everything you need to create detailed impressions of the beautiful, historic visuals hidden around the Cathedral floor. It’s the perfect creative activity for all ages – simply pick up your kit, find the designs and take home a beautiful piece of art you made yourself.
Cost: £3 (pay for and collect your brass rubbing kit from the Welcome Desk)

The Cathedral Cat Trail
Join Audrey the Cathedral Cat on a purr-fect adventure! Our beloved resident feline has hidden questions all around the Cathedral, and she needs your help to find the answers. Pick up your trail map at the Welcome Desk and explore the nooks and crannies of our beautiful building. It’s a fantastic way for little explorers to engage with our history while hunting for clues. Can you help Audrey solve the mystery?

Explorer Backpacks
Turn a visit to the Cathedral into a fun expedition with our Explorer Backpacks! Designed to bring our magnificent history to life, each pack is filled with interactive tools, fun challenges and hands-on activities that turn every child into a history detective. Whether it’s decoding medieval carvings, spotting hidden details in the stained glass or uncovering secrets of the past, these backpacks make discovery an enjoyable experience for the whole family.

Our family activities (except for brass rubbing), Audio Tours, Ground Floor Tours and our new Treasures Exhibition are all experiences included in your Cathedral ticket price.
