Exeter Philharmonic Choir: Autumn Concert
Saturday 5 November 2022. Performance at 7:30pm, doors open at 6:45pm.
Join us on Saturday 5 November for the first concert of Exeter Philharmonic Choir’s 2022/23 season. The choir had planned to open its 176th season with a celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. Instead the concert, aptly called ‘GLORIA’, will now be a thanksgiving for her long and glorious reign. Accompanied by the brilliant sound of Onyx Brass, they will explore the rich repertoire of music for brass, organ and percussion.

About Exeter Philharmonic Choir
Exeter Philharmonic Choir has been making music in Exeter since 1846. They usually give five concerts a year, including two carol concerts in Exeter Cathedral, led by director of music Howard Ionascu and associate director of music Stephen Tanner. They have around 100 members and always perform with professional orchestras and soloists to maintain their quality of music-making.
