Be a Chorister for a Day 2026

Be a Chorister for a Day is an experience for children aged 6-10 (school years 2-5) who love to sing. The next Be a Chorister for a Day will take place on Saturday 28 November 2026, with more information soon to follow.
The experience is free of charge and will be led by the Cathedral’s Director of Music, Mr Timothy Noon, and his team. It includes:
- Singing practice in the Song Schools
- A chance to discover more about the Cathedral through a special guided tour
- A snack at breaktime
- The opportunity to sing alongside current choristers during the Christingle Service at 4pm
- A named certificate recognising each attendee’s participation in the ancient choral tradition of Exeter Cathedral
