Armed Forces Day
Saturday 21 June at 11am
Exeter’s Armed Forces Day will take place on Saturday 21 June, following the longstanding tradition of taking place one week before the national Armed Forces Day.
Around 150 service personnel from the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines (CTCRM) will march through Exeter city centre to exercise the unit’s Freedom of the City, setting off at 11am from Paris Street. The parade will be supported by His Majesty’s Band of the Royal Marines from Plymouth.
A Military Village will be set up on Cathedral led by the 6th Battalion ‘The Rifles’.
