Treasures Exhibition
Discover rare and ancient artefacts in our Treasures Exhibition – a brand-new exhibition space showcasing over 1,000 years of Cathedral history. Set inside our 19th century Pearson Building just above Exeter Cathedral Shop, you will find fascinating treasures from our collections, many on display for the first time. See the Cathedral’s foundation charter dating back to 1050; the only surviving examples of medieval wax votives in England; and the 10th century Exeter Book – the oldest book of English literature in the world! Alongside these historic gems, you will also find modern artworks created in collaboration with the local community.
