Lord, I humbly offer this prayer for Steven, asking for your loving care and guidance. May you surround him with your grace, comfort him in his struggles, and grant him strength and peace. Lord, I place him in your hands, trusting that you know his needs better than I do. May your will be done in his life, and may he find joy and purpose in your love. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

God of love, passionate and strong, tender and careful: watch over us and hold us all the days of our life; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Heavenly Father we pray for your Church and all that serve it, as it comes under criticism and attack. Amen 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (ESV): “We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed” can offer comfort and strength. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (ESV): “For the weapons of our warfare are not worldly but are mighty in God for the destruction of fortresses. We destroy arguments and every high thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

Lord thank you for my blessings please pray for my mum in heaven with our lord Jesus & protect me lord on my trauma ahead please holy father be with me in my pain at moment i need you more father amen 🙏

Lord thank you for our daily bread please protect me lord please give me peace & look after me holy father amen

I’d like you to pray for an old man I see in the supermarket from time to time. He is filthy dirty, his clothes are heavily soiled, black with ingrained dirt and grime. Today I saw him shopping, counting the few coins he pulled from his pocket trying to work out whether he had enough money for a can of tinned fish. (When he wasn’t looking, I dropped a fiver into his shopping trolley). I’ve never seen him begging and I didn’t want to give it to him directly, as I thought it may hurt his pride. Please pray and do what you can to help people like this, old men who are filthy dirty tend to be looked down on, and are the last to gain any sympathy from the public. Don’t cross the road and look the other way, instead help if you can and pray for the person. God of Justice, open our eyes to see you in the face of the poor. Open our ears to hear you in the cries of the exploited. Open our mouths to defend you in the public squares as well as in private deeds. Remind us that what we do to the least ones, we do to you. Amen.
