Prayer for Acceptance of Gay and Trans Persons Lord Jesus, Teach us to accept one another as we are, just as You accept us without condition. Help us see that we are all made in Your image and deeply loved by You. “Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” — Romans 15:7 May we embrace the beauty of diversity in people and their stories, learning to love them with open and accepting hearts, as You have commanded us to do. Lord I thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed upon me. Please forgive me for sometimes overlooking them when my anxiety takes hold. I pray that you watch over my loved ones and protect them from any serious illness or injury, and please may they live long, healthy and happy lives/ Please give us all strength to face our coming loss with our darling Ricky, and let love and light shine into our lives so that we can face a brighter future together not of grief, but of thanks and hope. Amen.
