Loving Father, please send healing to Lewis. He is 3 years old with cancer of the spine. Please make the chemo a complete success and help him not to suffer side effects or pain. Please support and comfort his parents and family in the coming traumatic times. In the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen

Maudie: My wonderful mother who was sadly taken from us after a long fight against the coronavirus. A beautiful lady, mother of 8 children, who never complained and who kept a sense of humour all her life. Please say a prayer for her and gather her into the comfort and love of Angel’s wings. God bless her. Until we meet again Mum.

Thank you God for scientists working to develop a vaccine for COVOD-19. Give them strength and wisdom in their work and enable the people from all countries to benefit. Amen.

Father God please put your loving arms around my dear friend Anita. Let her know your presence in this time of grief. She has lost both her parents to Covid 19 in four days. She is alone and needs you. May she feel your comfort and support and know that she will get through this if she leans on you. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Amen

Lord, we bring before you all those who have fought and lost the battle with Covid-19, their loved ones, and all the medical and support staff at our hospitals – may those who have died rest in peace and rise in glory, may those who stay behind be held by the everlasting arms, may all hospital workers be kept safe. You will is health and wholeness and we need you. Amen.

I pray for George Floyd and his family. I pray for the anti-racist and Black lives matter movements to strengthen and form part of a whole new way of doing community across the world, including in Exeter. I repent of my own systemic acts of unintentional racism and abuse of my white privilege.

Giving great thanks that a tragedy was averted yesterday, and asking for comfort and healing of mind and soul for the family who came so near death.

For our friends in Seaton, one struggling with terminal ill health and the other with caring duties. This is especially difficult in this time of lock down and distance from their family and friends.

Jesus keep my family safe, my daughter Kerry who is a teacher her husband Matthew, my grandchildren Millie and Oscar, we miss our visits to Exeter as we live in Surrey it is impossible at the moment. I will ,pray for them, I know God is taking care of us all x

I pray that all of us who are leaving SWMTC this term enter into our lives of ministry with the passion and power of those who were at the first Pentecost.

Loving God Remove all fear and insecurity from within J, and open her heart to accepting that her best friend needs her affirmation more than ever before. Open J’s eyes to the power of love, and help her to accept that her best friend’s new relationship will bring widespread joy, and will enrich her own life.
