Jan Liebermann

Hailed as one of Europe’s most exciting young organ talents, Jann Liebermann will showcase the full expressive power of the Cathedral’s magnificent organ in a wide-ranging and virtuosic programme. Liebermann’s programme promises to provide a memorable evening of colour, power, and finesse from one of the next generation’s brightest stars.

Timothy Noon

Exeter Cathedral’s Director of Music, Timothy Noon, will be marking Play the Organ Year 2025 with an event that celebrates the inspiration and power of the pipe organ. Entitled ‘The King of Instruments’, the programme takes its name from a 1970 LP recording that first inspired a young Timothy Noon to take up the organ 40 years ago.

Exeter Cathedral Organ Scholar, Adam Field gives a final performance before taking up the position of Assistant Director of Music at Bath Abbey this autumn. This final recital of the season offers a feast of transcriptions—ranging from the grand and celebratory to the intimate and reflective—showcasing the organ’s orchestral breadth and expressive versatility.
