Craft Workshop at Exeter Cathedral Café
Friday 1 May 2026 | 6pm-8pm
We are delighted to be hosting alongside Bunyip Craft a series of craft workshops inside the inspiring space of Exeter Cathedral Café.
From 6-8pm, Exeter Cathedral Café will be turning into a craft-making hub, with your first drink on the house: hot, cold and alcoholic options available. The cost of the session also includes all the materials for the class.
Choose from:
Learn to make beaded bracelets
Using elastic, thin flexible wire and/or cotton thread, you will learn how to make a variety of bracelets. We’ll even bring along our letter beads so that you can wear your feelings on your sleeve, and personalise your piece. There will be time for you to make a stretchy bracelet, a bracelet with a clasp and a square knot with beads knotted bracelet, and hopefully more.
Design your own cross stitch
We’ll start by using graph paper to design a simple pattern or word for you to cross stitch. We’ll move on to how to cross stitch using aida fabric and bright colourful embroidery thread, then get to work on your own piece. You’ll get to take everything you need to finish your project home with you at the end of the session.
Make foil-embossed decorations
Make a variety of decorations for your homestead, using thin metallic foil and tools. Lots of examples to work from, and lots of help on hand.
Bunyip Craft is proud to be working with Exeter Cathedral to bring you this crafting event.
Tickets: £25 (includes your first drink)
