Lent Course: Dancing to the Heartbeat of God

Lent Course: Dancing to the Heartbeat of God

18 February, 22 February, 8 March & 22 March

Join us as we explore and deepen our faith alongside voices from across the Anglican Communion. This year’s Lent study course will be based on the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lent Book ‘Dancing to the Heartbeat of God’.

We will begin with a short, guided afternoon retreat on Ash Wednesday 18 February, 2:30pm-4pm which will be held in the Sacristy.

The course then continues on alternate Sundays after the retreat. We will meet at 11:45am-12:45pm on 22 February, 8 March & 22 March. We will draw on various readings from our Lent book which create a thematic focus for prayer, reflection and discussion.

Dancing to the Heartbeat of God is an especially rich and diverse resource made up of stories, meditations and discussion points. Through their distinctive contributions the authors invite us to attend more closely to our relationship with God, to consider how our faith is sustained, and so how our identity is shaped through life in Christ.
