Hands on History – Medieval History

Wednesday 27 May 2026 | 2pm-4pm

Are you aged 14–18 and curious about medieval history?

Join us in the Cathedral Library & Archives for a unique hands-on session exploring original documents and manuscripts from the medieval period. Discover how history is preserved in centuries-old records and uncover stories of medieval kings, bishops, Cathedral-builders and others. You will get a behind-the-scenes look at rare archival materials and early printed books that will truly bring the medieval world to life.

Spaces are limited so please get in touch with Ella Barber, Youth Engagement Officer, to express your interest in attending this session. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
