‘New Light on Familiar Words’, Sue Gillingham
Thursday 19th March 2026, 7pm on Zoom:

“Pray in this way…” Jesus says to his disciples before he offers them the words we now know as The Lord’s Prayer. It has become a familiar and comforting resource for millions of Christians throughout the ages. Few, however, realize the depths of its Jewish roots: almost every phrase is found in the Hebrew Scriptures. By adding new insights, Sue will challenge your understanding of this extraordinary prayer and offer new ways in which you might ‘pray in this way’.
