Arts & Crafts With Local Artist, Zoë
Tuesday 1 September: 10:30am-12noon

Simply pre-book your tickets and turn up to discover the theme of the session – it could be stained-glass windows, angels, the astronomical clock or illuminated letters. All activities have been designed to relax and rejuvenate each family member, resulting in something beautiful to take away from your Cathedral visit.

Storytime in the Cathedral
Friday 28 August: 11am-11:30am
Enjoy having a story being read to you and your children by our caring Clergy and Education Guides Team for a relaxing and fun half an hour inside the inspiring setting of Exeter Cathedral. For children aged 3-8. £3 per child. Accompanying adults go free.

Make it a relaxing day out with the family
Our special themed craft activities will run in addition to our usual fun children’s activities that are available all year round. These include the Cathedral Cat Trail and Explorer Backpacks (available from the Welcome Desk) and an opportunity to build your own cathedral with wooden blocks (available in the Cloister Gallery, next to our Café – a perfect lunch-spot with an awe-inspiring Medieval ceiling which keeps little adventurers entertained!). And why not finish your day with a quick visit to our exciting Treasures Exhibition which is full of rare and surprising artefacts, makes this for a wonderfully non-expensive family day out.
