West End Anthems at Exeter Cathedral

West End Anthems at Exeter Cathedral

Saturday 5 December 2026 | Doors open: 6:45pm | Event: 7:30pm-9:30pm | Exeter Cathedral

Enjoy a spectacular evening of musical theatre as Devon Musical Theatre Choirs’ Exeter and Torquay choirs come together, bringing more than 100 singers to the magnificent setting of Exeter Cathedral!

Under the musical direction of Kelly Young, the choirs will perform some of the biggest and best-loved songs from the West End, with music from Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Dear Evan Hansen, Frozen, Oliver!, Chess and many more.

Expect soaring ensemble numbers, huge harmonies and some of musical theatre’s most unforgettable anthems, all performed by a powerful community choir in one of Devon’s most spectacular venues.

The evening will also be raising funds for Devon Air Ambulance, with the event kindly sponsored by Taylor Wimpey.

With the concert taking place right in the heart of Exeter in December, why not make a full day of it? Enjoy Exeter’s Christmas Market, soak up the festive atmosphere around Cathedral Green, stop for food or a drink in the city centre, and then finish the day with an evening of live musical theatre inside Exeter Cathedral!

Seating is unreserved and available on a first-come, first-served basis so we recommend arriving at the venue in good time to take your seats.

Please note that there is no parking available at Exeter Cathedral, so guests should use nearby city-centre car parks or public transport and allow extra time for their journey.

Refreshments will be available to purchase from Exeter Cathedral during the evening and are not included in the ticket price.

Tickets: Adults £22.50 | Under 18s £12.50 | Under 5s free

Come and hear over 100 voices filling Exeter Cathedral with some of the biggest songs in musical theatre!

Refund policy: Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled, rescheduled or subject to a significant change. Please ensure you are able to attend before purchasing. This does not affect your statutory rights.
