Tour and Draw: Sketching in the Cathedral

Come and look at the Cathedral in a different way, with illustrator and tour guide Olivia Palmer. We will explore an area of the building, learning about its architecture and history, and studying its decorative qualities. Then it’s off with our sketchbooks to draw a view or feature in that area, with Olivia on hand to offer guidance and encouragement. We will be touring and drawing in different areas of the Cathedral over a period of a few weeks, so feel free to join us more than once! This activity is suitable for all artistic abilities. Come and try something new!

We are unable to supply the materials needed for the session, so we kindly ask that you bring the following with you on the day…

  • Hardback sketch book or paper and clipboard.
  • A selection of pencils, pens or crayons. Please only bring dry materials.

Total Length: 120mins
