About the performers

Tedburn St Mary Community Choir was formed 6 years ago by Julia Green, and has gone from strength to strength, performing at venues such as The Northcott Theatre, Exeter Cathedral and the Minack Theatre, raising thousands of pounds for local charities.

Orchard Harmony is a female a cappella group from Whimple, East Devon, and was formed by Julia Green 15 years ago. The group performs a wide range of styles and will demonstrate this in their repertoire for this concert.

The Marsh Green Melody Makers was formed by Julia Green 5 years ago, and brings together 30 members from this very small hamlet in East Devon, who enjoy making music together.

The Hatherleigh Silver Band is a very successful contesting band, having had a string of successes in Regional Brass Band competitions. In 2016 and 2017 they gained places in the top six of bands in their section in the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
