Talking about slavery

Peter Wingfield-Digby will describe the links to slavery of some of the people commemorated on plaques in Exeter Cathedral. He will also discuss the famous Victorian Bishop of Exeter, Henry Phillpotts, and his possible links to slavery.

About the series

This event is part of our new series of adult lectures and talks called “Something to talk about”. Each event costs £5-£6 and takes place at Exeter Cathedral over a lunch break. The Cathedral Café is on hand serving refreshments before and after the events.
