Exeter Philharmonic Choir Ι Autumn Concert

Exeter Philharmonic Choir is delighted to begin its 175th anniversary season with a performance of Fauré Requiem in Exeter Cathedral


The Programme

The concert will also include music by familiar composers such as Brahms, Rachmaninov and Palestrina and contemporary composer Patrick Hawes. Supporting the choir will be Devon Amici, an ensemble of highly experienced musicians led by Exeter violinist Julie Hill.

About Exeter Philharmonic Choir

Exeter Philharmonic Choir has been making music in Exeter since 1846. We usually give five concerts a year, led by director of music Howard Ionascu and associate director of music Stephen Tanner, including two Carol concerts in Exeter Cathedral. We have around 120 members and always perform with professional orchestras and soloists to maintain our quality of music-making.
