Crediton to Exeter Pilgrimage

Saturday 28th September 2019 at 9:00

As part of the new Devon Pilgrim project, Growing the Rural Church is working with a team, including Exeter Cathedral, to develop a pilgrimage route from Crediton to Exeter.

We would like to invite anyone interested in trying out the suggested route to join us for the day on Saturday 28th September.

We will begin our day with a 15 minute service at Holy Cross, Crediton and end with Evensong at Exeter Cathedral at 5.30pm.  The route is approximately 13 miles and will visit several churches along the way.

Please gather at Holy Cross, Crediton between 9 and 9.30 (ready to begin our walk immediately after the service). We will stop for a picnic lunch, (hopefully in the sunshine) and aim to arrive at the Cathedral in time for tea and cake before Evensong.

Don’t forget to bring your lunch, plenty of water – and waterproofs!
