Join us at Exeter Cathedral for our Lent, Holy Week, Easter Services starting on Wednesday 22 February.

Lent

Lent is our annual, God sent opportunity to devote a little more time to prayer, self-reflection, self-denial and study in preparation for the joy of Easter.

Wednesday 22 February – Ash Wednesday

Dust and Glory: Daily Reflections & Weekly Prayer Meeting
Church of England’s Lent booklet Dust and Glory contains prayers, Bible readings and short reflections. Dust and Glory also includes practical ideas to help you make sense of life’s challenges and draw closer to God. The Dust and Glory resources can be accessed for free via the app – search Dust and Glory.

To sustain us with this Lenten commitment there will be a short online contemplative prayer service at 7pm on the following Mondays: 27 February, 6, 13, 20, 27 March. Sunday 12, 19 and 26 March 11:45am-12:45pm – Sunday Book Group
The Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lent Book this year is Failure: What Jesus Said about Sin, Mistakes and Messing Up by Bishop Emma Ineson published by SPCK. There will be an in person discussion group on three consecutive Sundays after the 10am Eucharist. You are welcome to come to any or all of these meetings. Please email Phil Wales if you would like to join the study group.
