Visiting the Archives

The Cathedral Archives are situated above the Cathedral Café in the South East corner of the former cloisters, to the right of the West Front of the Cathedral.

The door to the Archives is in the left-hand corner of the Café. Please press the button on the intercom box mounted on the wall to the right of the door. All visits must be arranged in advance, as space and opening hours are limited. The Archives are usually open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, between 2pm and 5pm.

There is no public parking on site, but several city centre car parks are close by. Please see Exeter City Council's website for information about car parks, bus and rail services.

 At present there is no provision for disabled access.
