Cathedral Archives
Situated in the former cloisters, where the medieval library once stood, Exeter's documents remain close to the building in which they have been stored for nearly a thousand years.
The Cathedral Archives are administered jointly by Devon Record Office and the Dean and Chapter of Exeter Cathedral.
Mrs Angela Doughty, BA, DAA, has been Cathedral Archivist since 1987. At present she is concentrating on expanding the computer database and compiling details of choir members from 1600 to the mid 20th century.
