Creation exhibition

High quality, hand stitched banners by textile artist Jacqui Frost are currently on display in the Cathedral.

This exhibit explores the theme of prayer using Bible passages taken from the Old and New Testaments and include teaching on praise, thanks, adoration, repentancee, petition and blessing.

The artist's Christian faith forms the basis of all her textiles. She enjoys working with the concept of the 'revealed' and the 'concealed' often layering fabrics and exposing negative spaces. She explores the challenge of working on a large scale while retaining a fascination for areas of intricacy.

The banners can be found in the Cathedral opposite the entrance to The Lady Chapel.
