You will be most welcome to participate in any of the religious services at the Cathedral
The Cathedral is open to visitors from 9.30am-5pm.
From Monday 24th March 2008 the charges will be:
Adults £4.00
Students and Senior Citizens £2.00
Children accompanied by an adult Free
Free guided tours take place from March to October at the following times:
Monday to Friday, 11.00am, 12.30pm* and 2.30pm
Saturday, 11am and 12.30pm*
* only during July, August and September
Times of tours may vary according to special services and events taking place in the Cathedral.

on 01392 285 983 to confirm times.
All group visits must be booked in advance with the Visitors' Officer.
Groups visiting without booking may not be admitted to the Cathedral.
Would all Tour Companies and Tour Group Leaders, please be aware,
that due to the number of services taking place we are unable to accomodate group visits on a Sunday.
Individual members of your parties,
who would like to attend any of the services will be most welcome.
The Cathedral charges for group visits at the following rates:
£3.50 per adult
£2.00 per student (teachers free of charge)
This includes Cathedral guide/s, including French and German
speaking guides (subject to availability).

Photography permits cost £1 and are for domestic use only.
Visitors are asked to photograph the fabric of the Cathedral only,
and not to photograph chaplains, choristers, or any other performers.
The Cathedral Shop, which is accessed from within the Cathedral, offers a good selection of souvenirs and gifts in addition to guide books in many languages. Telephone 01392 271354
The Refectory (Restaurant) is in the Cloister Room and is open for refreshments and light meals from Monday to Saturday, 10.00 a.m. to 4.45 p.m. Telephone 01392 285988
TheCathedral Library is to be found in the Bishop's Palace on the south side of the Cathedral and contains a small exhibition of early English manuscripts and printed books, including the Exeter Book, a world-famous collection of Anglo-Saxon verse and the Exon Domesday. Open 2.00 to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
