Please note that we do have an excellent T - Loop system in place for the Deaf - please turn your hearing aids to T to cut out all the background noise when you are listening to speech over the microphone. The induction loop is in addition to the Cathedral's excellent sound system. ('Hearing' dogs are admitted.)

Virtually all of the Cathedral is accessible by wheelchair. Ramps are available to gain access to the Quire and to the Visitors Centre. The Chapter House and Refectory are accessible from the site of the Cloisters.
The Cathedral authorities regret there is no public parking permitted at the Cathedral from Monday to Friday during normal working hours, due to operational demands. Blue Badge holders who are specifically visiting the Cathedral are encouraged to contact the Visitors Office in advance (01392 285983), where staff will advise if special arrangements can be made, or where accessible parking may be available.
