Meet the Flower Arrangers

Come along to the Cathedral to meet our hardworking flower arrangers and ask them any questions you might have about their wonderful contributions to the beauty of the building throughout the year.
Meet the Organist (Fully Booked)

Cloister Garth Room
An opportunity to meet David Davies, our skilled organist, and ask all those questions you’ve always wanted to ask! David is the Assistant Director of Music at Exeter Cathedral. A graduate of Oxford and Yale universities he has worked in church music on both sides of the Atlantic, living in the USA for six years, and working at Guildford Cathedral in the UK for a further six years. His primary role at the cathedral is to play the organ at cathedral services. He assists with the daily running of the music department and directs the cathedral’s adult voluntary choir.
Meet the Archivist and Librarians (Fully Booked)

Library Reading Room, West Wing of the Bishop's Palace
Come along to meet the specialists in the Cathedral Library and Archive. Chat about how they came to be responsible for these treasured collections, what their day-to-day jobs involve and take a look at some of the precious items they care for.
Update: As this event has been fully booked the Library and Archive team have offered to hold the session again on the same day at 14.30. (This is now fully booked as well)
Meet the Tapisers

The tapisers are our loyal group of women who work to keep the Cathedral’s linen, kneelers and tapestries looking beautiful. Come along to meet a couple of them and see their amazing work in progress.
Meet the Masons
Wednesday 7 August 13.00 - 14.00
Education Centre, Pearson Building
Join us for an introduction to the incredible work of stonemasons throughout the centuries. This session consists of a talk about the construction of the building followed by a live demonstration of our current masons’ skills.
