THE CATHEDRAL CHURCH OF SAINT PETER IN EXETER
All Christians are being called together to work for a more united world before God.
At its Vancouver Association in 1984 and, restated at subsequent WCC assemblies, the world council of churches has invited Christian communities across the continents to make a strong commitment to the process of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation. In different areas of church life Christians are challenged to respond to the forces and trends that threaten life on God's earth.
The responsibility for this chapel is shared amongst a number of church and community organisations and groups from across the county of Devon. These include Christian Aid, Mission Agencies, Board for Christian Care, Chaplaincies, Devon Churches Green Action, and local voluntary organisations. Public acts of worship for Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation take place in the chapel regularly, normally on the final Saturday of each month at 12 noon.
