THE CATHEDRAL CHURCH OF SAINT PETER IN EXETER

"The work of the Choir under its director, Andrew Millington, and the Organist, Paul Morgan, has become known far beyond the confines of the Exeter Diocese."
The Cathedral Choir consists of the Choristers and the Gentlemen of the Choir. There are boy and girl choristers
The Choristers and Probationary Choristers are pupils at the Cathedral School. Voice trials for Choristers are held annually in February. Parents of prospective Choristers should contact the Headmaster. The Gentlemen of the Choir are comprised of Lay Vicars and Choral Scholars (students at Exeter University).
The Choristers rehearse every weekday morning and afternoon except Wednesday, which is usually a non-singing day. They are joined by the Gentlemen for the afternoon practice. There are two rehearsals for the Whole Choir on Saturday.
In addition to duties in the Cathedral, about two or three times a year the Choir sings in one of the Parish Churches in the Diocese. It is a professional body with many recording, broadcasting, and concert engagements. It also undertakes overseas tours periodically.

Gentlemen of the Choir and Boy Choristers
The voluntary choir is directed by the Organist, Paul Morgan. It sings at Evening Service on Sundays and during choir holidays.
